1968 – Mitton’s Tropical Fish opens in San Diego, later in the year Connie’s Collars of Hollywood is purchased
1971– Connie’s Collars is sold to a company in Bangkok, name changed to Tuff Stuff Manufacturing and contract sewing begins for Sears, Ocean Pacific, Brad Whitney, Leach Industries & Aqua Craft
1973– Tuff Stuff becomes the 2ndlargest employer in San Diego, begins contracting clothing involved with Ocean Pacific, Brad Whitney and Winnie the Pooh.
1980 – Moves to Michigan and acquires Michigan Tack and Vet Co., name is changed to Michigan Horse Products
1984– Merges with Shires and name is changed to Shires USA
1987 – Company is sold to New Holland Supply
1992– Buys out Shires and changes name to Warwick Saddlery
1996 – Resigned Warwick Saddlery and set up Intrepid International. DevelopsEquestrian International, which becomes the retail side of the business
1998– Tail Wrap and Deidre Allen Fancher join Intrepid
2001– Takes over Walsall Saddlery and changes name to Exselle®
2003 – Haddington Green acquired, John Craven & Kim Roberts come on board
2006– Buys Best Friend®
2010 – Going green- solar roof panels installed
2010 – Penn Equine – Hoof Sock acquired
2014 – Horse Quencher® acquired
2014 – Amish Leather goods sewing factory acquired
2016– Buys Thornhill®
